1Who we are

OudBid is operated by TAKE IT SOLUTION COMPANY LIMITED (Company Registration No. 0105551051021), 135/51 Amornpan 205 Tower 2 Building, 17th Floor, Soi Natong, Ratchadaphisek Road, Dindaeng, Bangkok 10400, Thailand.

TAKE IT SOLUTION COMPANY LIMITED is responsible for the personal data processed through OudBid. In this policy, "we" and "us" refer to TAKE IT SOLUTION COMPANY LIMITED.

2Information we collect

  • Account information: your name, email address and password. Passwords are stored only in hashed form.
  • Your profile picture, if you choose to upload one.
  • Auction activity: the auctions you join, your bids, lots you create, invitations, and comments you post on lots.
  • Contact details you give us, such as a phone or WhatsApp number, and the messages you send us.
  • Technical information: the session cookie that keeps you signed in, and server logs that may include your IP address, browser type and the time of each request.
  • Photos and videos uploaded to auction lots.

3How we use your information

  • To create and manage your account.
  • To run auctions: recording bids, determining winning bids and showing auction activity to auction members.
  • To send you service messages, such as email verification, password resets, outbid alerts and auction results.
  • To communicate with you about auctions you take part in, including arranging payment and delivery after an auction.
  • To keep OudBid secure and to prevent fraud and abuse, such as shill bidding.
  • To comply with our legal obligations.

4WhatsApp messages

If you provide a WhatsApp number, we may send you account and auction messages through WhatsApp, such as verification codes, outbid alerts and auction results.

These messages are delivered through the WhatsApp Business Platform operated by Meta, which processes your phone number and the message content to deliver them, in accordance with WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy.

We send marketing messages only if you have agreed to receive them. You can ask us to stop sending you WhatsApp messages at any time by contacting us.

5Who can see your information

  • Members and administrators of an auction you join can see the information needed to run that auction, such as bid amounts and bidder display names.
  • Service providers that host and operate OudBid on our behalf, such as hosting and email delivery providers, only to the extent needed to provide their services.
  • Meta, when we send you messages through WhatsApp.
  • Public authorities, where we are required to share information by law.
  • We do not sell your personal data.

6Cookies

OudBid uses only cookies that are necessary for the website to work, such as the cookie that keeps you signed in. Your choice of light or dark theme is stored in your browser. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics.

7Where your data is stored

Your data is stored on servers located in Thailand. If you use OudBid from another country, your data is transferred to and processed in Thailand.

8How long we keep your data

We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. Records of bids and completed auctions may be kept longer where we need them to resolve disputes or to meet legal and accounting obligations.

When you ask us to delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data unless the law requires us to keep it.

9Your rights

Under Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019) and other applicable laws, you have the right to:

  • access your personal data and obtain a copy of it;
  • have inaccurate data corrected;
  • request the deletion of your data;
  • object to or restrict certain processing;
  • withdraw your consent at any time, where processing is based on consent;
  • lodge a complaint with the relevant data protection authority.

10Security

We protect your data with measures such as encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords and restricted access to our servers. No online service can be completely secure, so please keep your password safe.

11Age requirement

OudBid is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.

12Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
